He Calls Us to Repent, Not Regret

I was reading an article the other night, and a particular portion of it has stayed with me quite strongly. I am doing some further study ~ and listening in order to hear what the Lord will have me ~ but, I wanted to share it with you, also.
“God doesn’t desire or will that we live in the past. He always offers us forgiveness and another chance to let Him lead us.”
“…repentance not only brings freedom but also makes it possible to fully embrace the Lord’s power to transform anything in our lives to His glory. Regret says, ‘This is too much for God.’ Repentance says, ‘Here I am, Lord. Make me new!’ He calls us to expose our regrets, repent, and then look forward in expectation of His transforming power ~ even when it seems too late. He can take our mistakes and fashion something good out of them. That’s what the cross is all about.”
~ Charles F. Stanley
Do you find that as powerful as I do? ♥

This is a powerful verse…I have a lot of sorrow for the wrong doings that I have done in my life! Only God knows why I am still on this earth? I try to carry on…and hurt no one if possible. I tend to mind my own business…but if someone needs help, I will try my best to be there! And in return, I am sure someone will be here for me. I believe that’s what we were put on this earth for! I love you!!!
That’s right, Mom ~ only God knows the plan He has for us. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.” ~ Jeremiah 29:11
I read in the same article that if you’re still breathing, then God still has work for you! For some reason, that just stopped me in my tracks for a moment.
I love you more.
