The One Thing That Remains Certain

I cannot tell you how comforting this is to me! To know that in a time of absolute uncertainty and most probable change, there remains one thing stable ~ no matter what.
When we find ourselves worrying and uneasy, to remember that we are to be strong and courageous, and not be frightened, and do not be dismayed ~ for the Lord our God is with us wherever we go.
When we find ourselves fretting over ‘not knowing,’ to remember that we are to trust in the Lord with all our heart, and lean not on our own understanding. When we acknowledge Him in all our ways, He will make straight our paths.
We can cast all of our anxieties on Him, because He cares for us.
How powerful and comforting is that?!

Also, what comes to mind is Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

You’re absolutely right, Buddy ~ Proverbs is what I was referring to when I mentioned fretting over ‘not knowing’. I don’t understand why things are happening the way they are, and I don’t know what the outcome will be. But, I do know that the Lord has a plan in all of this, so I must continue to lean on Him and trust in His will.
