Nobody Likes Me

Nobody likes me; everybody hates me.
I’m goin’ down the garden to eat worms.
Long ones, short ones, fat ones, thin ones.
Oh, how they wiggle and squirm.

I write things off the top of my head,
and try to think of clever things to say.
Nobody knows how sad I grow,
when there’s not even one comment a day.
Ohhhh…nobody loves me.

Uh-hem…meee, meee, meee, meee, meeeeeeeeeee…

Where, oh where have my blogging friends gone;
Where, oh where can they be?
Have they left with a yawn, or perhaps completely withdrawn;
Oh where, oh where can they be?

And, just in case that hasn’t made you feel sorry for me…

Did you ever see a grown girl weep,
and sob and whimper and sigh?
That means that things are bleek,
I’m so lonely I could cry.

The silence has become almost bizarre;
Everyone just left without even saying goodbye.
And, as I wonder where you are,
I’m so lonely I could cry.

Okay, so how’s that for a pathetically shameless attempt to get you to leave me a quick comment ~ a desperate plea to let me know you’ve taken a peek at what we’re up to?  Sometimes the echos in here can get pretty loud.

Plus, me knowing that you’ve visited will put a smile on my heart!  ♥
