Treasured Traditions: Revisited

It’s that special time of year again ~ that time when my beloved Darling Husbie and I get our annual Christmas mugs. I’d been thinking about it for a couple of weeks, and I even eye-balled a few of them while I was out and about a few days ago. I didn’t pick any out, though, because I wanted to see if Husbie wished to pick them out together.
I came down with some crud, and the cold weather started moving in Sunday afternoon. That evening, Husbie decided to make a quick run into town to pick up a few comfort items for us.
Much to my surprise, he’d also made a special stop at my favorite local store just to pick out our treasured mugs.
It’s nearly impossible to see it in the photo ~ shucks, my ol’ eyes can hardly see it when it’s in my hand ~ but in pretty white script around the image, it says:
Love is patient, love is kind, always trusts, always hopes. Love never fails.
How sweet is that?! I do believe my Darling Husbie is the most precious man in the world.

That was so perfect, and he got it at your favorite store, too. He is sneaky, huh? Those look like a good size mug, too. Watch out for that special choc drink…might be too “D” Hot. LOL

Yes, Darling Husbie is quite sneaky and very, very sweet. I really do keep telling him to not spoil me so much.
The mugs are huge. I think they easily hold three of the standard cups. I can only drink about one ~ maybe one and a half ~ of it full of coffee before I have the caffeine jitters. Heehee!
