Monopoly Money Madness: May

I wrapped up another month of Monopoly Money Madness. I really didn’t have time to put forth the effort to truly sweep the stores with my binder in tow, so my figures are a little lower.
That being said, I still utitilized coupons for the items I needed to buy ~ if there were any available ~ and that netted in a 75% overall savings on our grocery budget. In other words, out of our total grocery expenses for the month, an additional 75% was spent and paid for with my Monopoly money. Not too shabby for not even really trying!
So, for the month of May we ring in with:
- Total Number of Items for Free = 16
- Total Number of Items for $.01 – .50 = 61
- Total Amount of Rebates = 0
May Monopoly Money Savings = $138.48
Year-to-Date Monopoly Money Savings = $798.65
