Our Spring Makeover

We’ve updated our look again ~ spring has truly arrived at the Farmstead! We had a three-day spell of wonderfully gentle rain, and it’s being followed with four days of 80 degree temperatures. Whee!
The main header photo is a picture Darling Husbie took of our little pear tree right off the front patio, looking in a west southwesterly direction. The tree had loaded itself with little buds one day and literally exploded with these precious flowers the next. Poof! Spring is here.
Needless to say, it’s been very difficult to fulfill my indoor responsibilities. The girls and I frantically get our housework done in the morning so that we can spend the remainder of the day outside…playing!
I haven’t forgotten, though, that this is Nebraska. Undoubtedly we will get at least one more snowfall as spring shuts the door on winter.
