I was supposed to be writing a blog yesterday, but like I sometimes tend to do, I got sidetracked~ but only just a little.

I’ve been wanting to update the look of things around here for a couple of months now ~ although I thought it was beautiful, the autumn scene just didn’t seem to ‘fit’ anymore.  I’d found a couple of new themes that struck my fancy, but they were only two-column layouts, which would mean we’d pretty much need a facelift when all I really wanted was a facial.  Heehee!

So, while I was searching once again for a new theme yesterday, I decided I’d try to figure out how to change some things with this theme.  I decided I’d dabble a little bit with the html code.  Except, I don’t know enough about html code to dabble.  So maybe I just dibbled.

At any rate, I figured out how to change the main header photo ~ which is exactly what I was hoping for.  Now I will be able to keep the page more up-to-date with actual Prairie Farmstead scenery throughout the year.  Yes!  [said in my best Napoleon Dynamite impersonation]

The current photo was taken by Darling Husbie on December 15, 2007.  It’s viewpoint is from the area in between the house and Husbie’s main shop space looking west southwest, of course.
